have begun Tony Robbins's 30 day Personal Power program.
Today is Day 1
On day one, I am to select two actions that I have been putting off. Two things that will get me moving in a positive direction.
Action
1: Set up blog to track my progress. That which gets measured gets evaluated.
Action 2: Begin to apply the principles of the Ming Method.
I have suffered from severe Plantar Fascitis for some time. When I do
the fascial streches outlined in the book, I feel much better. The
problem is, my actions haven't been consistent. Now I will do it every
evening without fail.
Along with the Ming Method, I am also following along with a beginners yoga DVD.
Bear with me regarding these
posts. I haven't blogged before. I have started and stopped multiple
times over the years, but now I will commit to following through.
Regarding Tony Robbins:
I
know that alot of people consider him a shyster/scammer/etc. and I will
admit that when I listened to one of his recent recordings he did
appear to go off a bit into loony-land. However, this tape set (which I
converted to mp3) I acquired back in the early '90s so it is before he
went totally looney. Regardless, it is still a plan that has specific
goals/benchmarks and processes. I am going to go by the philosophy that
'The mediocre plan that you follow is better than the perfect plan that
you abandon'.
On a separate note, began taking Glucosamine and Chondroitin
for joint pain. I have two bottles,at 80 pills each. Taking 2 per day
will last 80 days. That should be enough time to evaluate how much
improvement is experienced.
